| Benjamin Jepson Interdistrict Magnet school is located in New Haven, Connecticut. We are a multi-aged magnet school. We service students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students travel through their academic career here at Jepson on the Primary Team (Kindergarten & 1st), Intermediate Team (2nd and 3rd grade), Upper Intermediate (4th and 5th grade), Junior Team (6th grade) and Senior Team (7th and 8th grade). Here at Jepson, we strive for academic excellence for all of our children. Please take a few minutes to go through our website to see what makes our school so special!
Arrival and Dismissal The official school time is 9:15 to 3:30. In order to protect your child’s instructional time we are respectfully requesting that you pick up your child from school no earlier than 3:25. Your children will be engaged in learning and related activities until dismissal. Our bus students will be dismissed at 3:25 for the same reason. We expect that this increase in instructional time will support student learning. Your support and cooperation is critical. We certainly understand emergencies however, please be aware that interruptions to your child’s day (at any point) can be distracting to him (or her) and the other children in the class. Thank you very much for all your assistance.
