The structure of CISP rests on learning sessions, field trips, student exchanges, and collaborative research projects for which students from all districts come together.

This program was developed to challenge students by incorporating both math and science to create a robot. The robot later will compete against other schools. If the team wins their regional competition, they advance to the championship against all the regions who won as well. The program brings students from all backgrounds to train and use different tools to teach and work together as a team. Team members learn to respect one another as young adults.
